Default Shocks and springs in my mk3 escort?

Hi,
just wondering if anyone can tell me if id have to put bigger shocks and springs into my mk3 1.3
if i put a 1.6 engine and box in?

should weigh the same tbh, but you may want to uprate your front brakes to match engine output

what brakes would be best to put on there?
would calipers off an xr3 fit?

I don't think you should put big ones but if you prefer it then you need to do some adjustments.

You really need to adjust things if you want front breaks. You would also probably spend a bit more than your budget and usually costs around 200-1000. Buy from reliable sources with quality products.
