Engineer and friend of the mag, Michael ‘Churchy’ Church was given the task of turning my cardboard templates of the engine mounts into the real thing. Made from 10mm thick steel plate they should be man enough for the job.

Will Pedley has been working on the Mk1, and has made some interesting discoveries. The pulley tensioner had sheared clean off the old head as the valves had just clipped the pistons and were boomeranged.

The time has nearly come for us to hand the keys to the Fiesta back. The ST was supplied to us by Fordpartsplus.net on an 18-month loan, and we were literally told to ‘do what we wanted with it’!
