Get down to Chelmsford Museum for a Boreham reunion that includes many famous fast Fords – and it’s free!

This Saturday (August 13) there is a gathering of RS200s at Chelmsford Museum and a reunion of all the Ford folk that worked at Ford Competitions Dept at Boreham from the early ’60s to the late ’90s.

RS200s are awesome – fact.

On the day there will be approximately 12 RS200s on display including works cars B200 YEV & B200 AYD, plus Robert Droogmans’ Marlboro-liveried car and the yellow Evo car.

As well as the static display of RS200s, there will be the Hart turbo-powered Beatrice Lola F1 car that Patrick Tambay drove around the circuit plus hopefully Stig Blomqvist’s Sierra Cosworth will make an appearance too!

The day is part of the museum exhibition of Boreham Airfield, Wings, Wheels and Dwellings. Many of the original Boreham mechanics are coming along, so if you fancy soaking up just a little bit of the Boreham atmosphere, come on over.

Pop along between 10am-4pm this Saturday – there’s no excuse not to as entry is FREE. You can get more details of the museum and exhibition here: www.chelmsford.gov.uk
