FORD FAIR 2009 – PART 1
Ford Fair is our flagship event and one of the biggest car shows in Europe. The place was packed out and our pre-booked sunshine meant that everyone worked on their tans as much as they worked on their cars. Silverstone is always a massive lure for petrolheads and as ever the track was open for club or individual sessions.

The show comprises of a slice of everything that’s good about owning a Ford, whether that’s showing your car in concours, abusing the circuit, shopping in the trader village for a bargain or just kickin’ back in the sun with your mates as you ogle Europe’s finest Fords. Want to find out your 0-60? No problem, get in line and bury the throttle. Prizes were on offer for the cleanest and fastest cars. If it isn’t here, it’s not worth knowing about.
Our stand was crammed as ever, showing off some of our past and future feature cars. We had a huge tribute display and parade lap to celebrate the S1’s 25th birthday too. The ever-popular Fastest Fords were lined up and sent out to the track to do battle, and we even had some historic race engines on display for all to see.
